  1. I think I have tried every codec out there, at every setting there is, what does everyone else use for the best results, whicc codec/version, and settings under flask,... for .avi. I have a copy of Red Planet that I got from friend, specs are
    Video Compression-DIVXMPG4 V3
    Video Sample Size-24 Bit
    Data Rate-112.137 kb/sec
    Frame Rate-23.976
    Frame Count-153231
    H/W-608 * 256
    Audio-MPEG Layer3 15.963 kb/sec 44.100 khz Stereo
File Size is 699mb, and it looks like DVD
ever since I wztched this rip, I have been trying to re-create it, and cant, with the same quality output, my .AVI file size always runs over 800mb, so what do you use?
    Thanks

  2. Go to doom9.org and read his section on Nandub, with GuardianKnot. Flask is very outdated and makes very poor avi's by comparison to newer methods.
