    I am using dvdshrink,dvd decrypter and dvdxcopy express .
    I bought new computer compaq 1200nx 2800+, nec 3500A dual layer dvdrw drive.I have nero.
    I can copy most dvd's but for some it shows error can not read sector.
    can someone help me fix this problem.i am new at dvd writing.
    and also when i am trying to make my compaq recovery dvd , it says this dvd is not blank please insert blank dvd.
    what do i need? like software codec etc.

    Read errors are mostly due to damaged/dirty discs, even if some (recent) originals have intentionally created bad sectors to make ripping harder.
