I can only find Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. Do any other companies make them?

Ritek and supposedly Philips, although I have not seen any from them.

Since you are in Japan, you should know that Maxell brand is still manufactured by MKM, just like TDK. Ritek, Prodisc, and Ricoh also have their own media code for DVD+R DL discs, at least sold in Japan:Originally Posted by DonNagual

Anybody try Imation dual layer media? Anybody know who is making it for them?

You find the best DL, it's enough. Verbatim has better compatibility than other DL media.

I've used the Ridata DVD+R DL platters with no problems with my NEC 3500A. I got the Media from SuperMediaStore. Get the hacked firmware that will remove Riplock for the NEC. Great Drive, Reliable Media.

Besides Verbatim/MKM there are also DL media from Ricoh (produced by Ritek), Philips (produced by CMC), Prodisc and Ritek available. Verbatim/MKM is without doubt the best though, all 4x DL burners support overspeeding of this 2.4x media to 4x and Pioneer and Plextor even think it's good enough for overspeeding to 6x.Originally Posted by vivsavage
They're RICOHJPND00 according to a post in another forum.Originally Posted by Pudah
