The .mdf file just contains metadata about the iso. Its sort of like the .cue to a .bin, but not as important. You need it mainly for split images (your image is 8 gigs but you run Fat filesystem so it splits it into 4 gig chunks and burns the whole thing to one DL disk) but its also a good idea to use it for DL burning in general. Unless you are doing either of these two things, you likely won't miss the .mdf files.

  3. DVD Decrypter can create a mds from an iso. Not needed if using Shrink, as it can open an iso w/o a mds.

The ISO files are all from dvd+r(4.37gb) so am I ok? Will they burn and then play fine when I go to but them on dvdr? I want to transfer them to MCC003 dvds from the Prodisc R03 they are currently on.

  5. they should, mine do
Except once, decrypter couldn't access the iso w/ the mds that it had created, go figure. I then just opened the iso w/ Shrink and burned with Decrypter.
