    And dont forget that Linux is also available for the Mac. So yes yes, Plenty of options no matter which platform you pick.

    And what Flaystus said earlier about the Shuttle XPC guys loving this. Well, hehe, my Athlon64 is a shuttle XPC so maybe thats why i like the new Mini Mac.

    The Dell versus the Mac for $599 argument has some merit. But, i couldnt pocket that Dell and smuggle it into work But for about that price i could get something from Cappuccino PC

    True, but check out the video on the Capuccinos, its why I've never gotten one. Even a 9200 ATI is better then the onboard generic stuff they come with.

    I am not impressed by the mac mini.

    Apple has from the 90's focused on style rather than functionality.

    This is just more of the same.

    (once you grow up with DOS and windows 3.1 its hard to change and MAC has never given me enough reason too - ie SOFTWARE :P :P)
