I had an effortless if somewhat expensive thing going capturing analog video from cable to mpeg2 files, editing in Mpeg Video Wizard and then authoring with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. Now Mpeg Video Wizard has exported several files in a row that DVD Author can't open. Specifically it says the "video sequence header is incorrect". Mpeg Video Wizard has a GOP fixer that looks great but never finds a problem and never creates the new "fixed" file that it says it's going to create. Am I missing something obvious?
So far its only been a problem on TV captures, not DV captures.
I know this problem has been posted before but the answer is always "encode with TMPGEnc." I've already spent quite a bit of money and I think that the free version of TMPGEnc only handles mpeg1. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Do you have the latest version of WIZARD? Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't experienced this problem with the latest version. Have you tried authoring with another program like DVDAuthorgui? Lots of people seem to love it; I haven't tried it, though. (There's a new version of it, too.)
