  1. Is such a thing as a video capture card and a video card that is one card?

One that has TV tuner input and monitor output?

I haven't been able to find one

    Thanks

    Hello,

It's called an ATI all-in-wonder card.

Just do a search at bestbuy.com or circuitcity.com for all-in-wonder.

They have the graphics and capture function all in one. And they can record in avi or mpg mode

  4. hmm well i'm looking in newegg under ATI and they don't have any that have a COAX connector for the TV input and a monitor output

    *EDIT*

They don't have one that has a standard monitor connector and the RF connector. All they seem to have are RF in and HDTV outputs

    Hello,

Try ebay for older models. You won't get as much graphics power but the capture function will be the same

Does it have to be all on the video card? You can get an entry level tuner card from ATi for $60 and use whatever video card you've got already. What are you using this for?

  8. This guy at my work is on a bidget and doesn't have any PCI slots left. I think the Mobo only had two slots and they're both used (NIC & sound card).

I use a winfast 2000 & a TI4400 card for my setup. I've never used the ATI AIW. I'm gonna tell him to look on ebay. Nothing is that cheap now a days. The cheapest thing on ebay was a 9200se for $75.00 NIB.

    Anyhow thanks for the help
