    In my house? My wife never wins an argument as she is incapable of applying pure logic to a discussion. She always has to revert to an emotion. Now, if you consider her crying and my having to apologize for making her cry, "winning"....

    Both are valid words in the dictionary, they are just synonyms.
    (Besides, I've hated the word Empathic since Deanna Troy on Star Trek)
    Thanks for that info. It still seems funny as the word pathetic just sticks out.

    That's just an example of some of our "green berrets", not our generals.

    Concede does not imply victory – men are more likely to give in, this has nothing to do with losing the argument (we are seldom wrong). Women have the ability to “hold out” longer than men – a valuable tool in the ol’ relationship game.

    @bazooka:

    Would ya look at the size of that girls's head! It's the size of a planetoid and it has it's own weather system! Looks like an orange on a toothpick! I'm not kidding, that girl's head is like Sputnik; spherical but quite pointy at parts! Aye, now that was offsides, now wasn't it? She'll be crying herself to sleep tonight, on her huge pillow.

    My wife rules my world. I just run the household and whatever I say stands forward, even for her. But she's the only one I allow to question my judgement and apologize to when I'm an incompitent a**hole.
