I've got a Phillips DVP-642 for all my xvid/mpeg4 needs and I'm pretty satisfied with it. But lately I've had an issue with DVD backup's skipping while they play like the disk is unreadable. I'm currently experimenting with different media brands to see if that is the cause.
Anyone else having similar problems?
Aside from that, is there another player with good quality that is less picky with media?
