Hi,
I have some VCDs that I can no longer find in stores. I would like to back them up. But I found out that the VCD is corrupted. It still plays, but I have to load it into the tray a couple of times before the system recognizes it.
When I tried making an image of it into my PC, and gives me an error message and shuts down the operation.
How do I save a copy of this movie? It does have to be a VCD again. I just want the movie playable.

Thanks, but it did not work.
It was stuck at 3% for half an hour. It cannot be saved.

Find a white wax candle. Rub gently all over the media surface (not the top silly
), polish with a soft, lint free, cloth.
Try again.
I've ressurrected many (S)VCD/DVD that my kids have had "hands on" experience with.Cheers, Jim

I have had it stay at 6% for 2 hours and got everything off the CD.Originally Posted by Cyberian v2.0

Which is the surface and which is the top? Surface and top is the same to me.Rub gently all over the media surface (not the top silly ),
Upon the first bad sector, a pop up screen showed up. Which did you choose out of the 4 options?I have had it stay at 6% for 2 hours and got everything off the CD. -
Heh, media surface would be the bottom. Sorry for the confusion.
Cheers, Jim

I'm not sure if you can do what you want with the free version.
