    curious if anyone had one of these or knows anything about if its worth a damn? it takes a memory card so to me its no different than my sony digital camera taking mpeg video clips.

    Not worth a dammmm...To me like you said.I can use my camera to do the same thing.At that price get full dv cam. It plays mp3 my camera cant do that,but I have a mp3 player

    I've got one of the first ones. It's just an expensive toy, but fun to play around with. And now they've got 1GB SD cards, but the video quality is still poor even in the FINE mode.
