    does anyone know how to convert mkv files to a different format using tmpgenc (i want it in DVD mpeg2)? i forgot how i did it, but i know that it's possible to convert mkv directly into a different format using tmpgenc. I dont it before, but after formatting my PC, i cant do it anything. anyone know what i need to be able to do this?

    rip the audio using virtualdubmod... the tricky part is getting the audio that you want thats if you want only one audio with your video. i myself have ditched the "i have wo choices in audio" deal for more space to make dvd mpeg2.
    Seedin and encoding... Healthy pc life :)
