Agreed. But does anyone else notice that if the drinking goes over a 6 pack, the job always seems to take longer?

I don't know about anyone else, but when my friend and I are working on a car, we start out working and talking, pretty soon we are working, talking and drinking, then before long we are doing more talking and drinking than working...once it took us 4 days to change the oil in his truck...but that time we started drinking before we started working

Soooo true! Have you ever noticed that the number of "extra parts" increases as the alcohol intake increases?

Yes, yes I have. Too many times to mention. But I'm happy to hear that we are not alone

Ok, I'm remembering a situation from my teenage years when I think about you reporting the car as stolen....

If the owner of the vehicle does not know of the whereabouts of said vehicle, then it can be considered as stolen (unless said owner was in a drunken stooper and just flat out forgot where they parked the damn thing in the first place! - to which said owner shouldn't be driving anyhow)

Technically, it is stolen since the a-hole uncle won't tell her where it is at. She is the owner, she has the right to know where it's at.

(Story from my teenage years that led me to this thought was my older sister borrowed the parents car one night for a run with the friends... Parents wanted to report the car as stolen but the police said that since she was their daughter and they knew she had the car, they could not report it as stolen. If daughter came home without the car, then it could be reported as such)

In hind site I would guess that the car is long gone or not worth getting back. Three plus months, and the uncle is saying some stupid shit. It is probally time to call in the law (unless you know some Hells Angels or Outlaws looking for some fun). Sorry to be the wet rag, but even the law probally ain't going to be much help unless it is helping to uncover a chop shop or something. I could be wrong, maybe everything will work out just fine, but In my opinion it is time to start figuring on the worst.
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
