  1. Hi,

    i have an XVID film with ac3 dvm audio, avi codec says its supported and VLCMEDIA player plays it but virtual dub gives me error "Could not find audi o decomprsesor for the format when i try and make a wav out of it.

    What do i need to fix this

    Try ac3filter. It might help if its ac3.

    AC3 filter is direct show. VDub requires an ACM decompressor. VLC uses a built in decoder so it isn't effected by anything.
