  1. Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I am trying to create data DVD's using Memorex +R/W disks and Nero Express. I assume that you should be able to see the data written to disk in a previous session, however that is not what is happening. I create a data disk usnig "Creat multisession", then I burn some files to the disk. If I go back later to add more files using Nero, the disk looks as if it is empty. There are definately files on the disk. I can see them in Explorer. Yet Nero says that the disk is empty. Is there some setting that needs to be tweaked in Nero to see files from previous sessions? Are there any other burning programs that will burn data R/W DVD's and use multisession? Any help?
    Thanks.

Multisession is used for cd's not dvd's.

    That is your problem.

  3. Thanks for that reply. So I would use "No multisession" when burning a data DVD?
    Thanks,

  5. Bazooka, do I have a different set up to most?

I can use Verbatim DVD-R with Nero in multisession mode with no problem.

Nero allows me to continue with the multisession DVD whenever I insert the media with Nero open.

If it wasn't possible then why would Nero not grey-out the multisession mode button when attempting to create a multisession data DVD?

Nero gave me one warning at the first creation of a multisession DVD telling me the resulting disc might not be playable on all DVD drives but I use the disc in three different drives and they all recognise the multisession DVD.
