Are you reading this off of the can? I'll try it, but it had better be good.

Actually I got it off of a website but I modified the recipe,I recommend sprinkling with bacon and grated parmesan or romano cheese.

Sorry, I have to proof as part of my job. Most of the time I don't care, just sometimes it spills over to my non-work life.

So if anyone dares to try a vcdhelp recipe, post the results, either here or in a new thread. Maybe Baldrick can put together and sell a cookbook to keep this place running.

I'm going to try some this weekend, if I get a chance. I love to experiment with new dishes. I'll post my results, even if they're a disaster.

The Videohelp.com Cook book?! Hmmmm. Sounds like we need to add that to the list of things you can do at the site. The previous edition was the packets of ready mixed gravy.

    Super Strawberry-Banana Fruit Smoothie

    2 - peeled frozen bananas
1 qrt. - of frozen strawberries with stems removed
    1C. - Strawberry Daiquiri/Margarita liquid mix
    2C. - cold water
    4 tbs. - powdered/confection sugar

cut the frozen bananas into approx. 1" sections & throw into blender jug. Add sugar. Add strawberries to top. Pour in daiquiri mix and fill with cold water to 3/4" below the brim of the blender jug. Place top on blender jug and start blender at a low 'chop' setting. Use a hard plastic spoon or spatula to push the fruit down and shelp stir the top contents with the direction of the blender blades. Once the contents are mixed set the blender to a high setting to liquify, while still helping stir the mixture in the direction of the blender blades. Once well, blended, pour into servable glasses. Mixture will be very thick and may need help with spatula to pour into cups.

Caution: Drinking real fast may cause severe brain freezes.

So anyone had my key-lime pie yet? I did last night, and it was delicious as usual. And an alright diet dessert!

Ok... my first recipe post.... Almost a little ghey... nah... just imagining I'm at a hunting cabin or something manly like that.

    French Toast (my father's recipe)

    1 Egg
1 Cup Of Whole Milk (2% 1% or Skim doesn't cut it)
    1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
    1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon
2 Tsp+ of Granulated Sugar (this is subjective)
    Texas Toast

Mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl with a wire wisk. After the ingredients are well mixed, taste the mixture to ascertain the appropriate amount of sugar for your taste. Too much will be... well... too much. Same goes for cinnamon.

Dip several pieces of TEXAS TOAST (this is very important. You cannot use regular sliced bread for this. You need something with some thickness to it). Place the "dipped pieces on a med heat griddle and cook until light brown. Turn with spatula...repeat.

I don't know how much it yields. I'm doing all of this from memory. Great French Toast though.
    Enjoy
