  1. Does anyone know how to capture Quicktime streaming video so that I may convert to SVCD.I would very much like to convert all three of the Star Wars episode 2 trailers to an SVCD along with a few other trailers from the quicktime websight so I may put them on the end or beginning of my VCD's

    Try Windows Media Encoder 8. Its Free from Microsoft but you don't always get great quality. Hope this helps!

    any help would be so much appreciated I downloaded the Star Wars episode 2 trailer from Kazaa, but was curious as to how people got the whole trailer so they could convert to AVI or MPEG

    You shouldn't have to recapture to convert it to (X)(S)VCD because you can convert QT movies straight to MPEG w/TMPGEnc all you need is the QTFReader file. Tou can download it right from this site in the tools section...
