Well, this is a strange problem that suddenly appeared. Last week all was fine, but today...
I run DVD rebuilder v.69. The "prepare" phase goes well. When the "encode" phase starts, the main CCE screen appears (the one that comes up when you doubleclick on the executable file, before any options are inputted). However, thats all that happens.
-No CPU usage, no HD access
-Frozen CCE screen, but doesnt show up as "not responding" in task manager.
-I left it for an hour, no change. I had to end the CCE and DVDRB processes (because dvdRB kept opening new CCE windows).
Here's what I get in the log:
[19:03:46] Phase II ENCODING started
- Creating M2V for VTS_01 segment 0
and that's it.
I'm running XP sp2, 1gb ram, CCE SP version 2.66. I'm using the latest version of ECLCCE, AVIsynth 2.5, and everything is pointing to the correct directories in setup of dvdrb.
So....any ideas?
EDIT: Ah, yes, I'm doing a 3-pass VBR.

I would uninstall both CCE and DvdRebuilder, and then install them again. Good luck.

oh, damn. Hours of confusion, and it turns out that when I reinstalled CCE last week, I installed 2.66.01.06. ECLCCE supports 2.66.01.07 and above. Oh, what horrible, horrible luck....
At least everything works now...-Yar, matey!-
