SVCD problems using Nero

I keep having problems making SVCDS with Nero. I've tried getting that little patch on the site, I've tried putting the scandata.dat file in, but I keep having problems.

First of all, the menu I try to create using Nero doesn't work properly. Then, I can't fast foward, rewind, or pause.

I've tried using the other two programs, but I got too confused trying to figure out what to do exactly =(

Finally, I've made regular VCDs with Nero, and they work perfectly. I just didn't like the playback quality and since I had the option for SVCD, I wanted to use it. I also use TMPMEG for the MPEG2 encoding (very quick to do with a Pent 4)

Any help would be great.

Stop using Nero. IT sucks for burning SVCDs. I would use VCD Easy to create bin/cue files of your MPEG2 files and then burn the image. You can use CDRDAO from within VCD Easy (freeware) or a commerical product like CDRWIN.
