  1. I was trying to convert an AC3 file to wav using TMPGenc, but TMPGenc does not recognise it. Is there a plugin or some freeware tool that I can make a quick and dirty conversion. Thank You.

    You can D/L ffmpeggui (a freeware app) that vcdhelp created in C++

    It will take a WAV file and convert to either your choice of MP2 or AC3 format.

    For AC3 to WAV use the free PX3Convert .

    Try using AC3Tool, it will easily extract/convert/downmix any AC3 to WAV or MP3

    Have a look at my guide, just skip the section on ripping the DVD, unless you need to
