does anyone know how to set up sound for a card with just svideo in? i have this card and on my motherboard it has spdif inputs but i cant seem to get the sound to work when using it. Also ati mmc will not let me see the video on the card although in the setup it will let me pick the card as the capture device

You configure MMC in the sound configuration for what input your using, also make sure whatever input on the soundcard you are using is enabled in the soundcards configuation.

the problem im running into is that on my cable box i have svideo out and composite out for the audio. And with the asus card it came with a little box that you plug into the capture card and on the box it has some plugs that your supposed to plug in your cables but none of the plugs are for audio because the card seems to capture vidoe but not audio. How do i hook up my compostie cables into my computer so that when i start up mmc or asus vcr or whatever capture software im using that i can get some audio. I have 6 outputs on my onboard soundcard that are for regular speakers and two rca jacks one that says spdif out and spdif in. thanks for the help guys
