  1. Hi I recently backed up a friends simpsons dvd onto my computer but
it made the iso file 6gig. DVD Decrypter wont burn it because its too big
and DVD shrink wont recognise the iso file to be able to shrink it.
Does anyone know how I can reduce the size or maybe half it so I can
    burn it to dvd.

Legally, who's the backup intended for, you or your friend?

Open DVDShrink. Go to File > Open Disc Image, and specify your ISO file. Configure DVDShrink to taste and job's right.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Because Warez are both illegal and not welcome here.

But beyond that as stated, DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink will both work well for you.

Open the ISO in DVD Shrink and create new files and go from there.

Guides for both programs can be found on the left or here....

    Hi Aussie,

    Use the following method.

    1. Use Shrink to re-author and backup to a single ISO file.
    2. Then burn with DVD Decriptor. (both applications are free)

Your drive should be formatted NTFS to enable you to create a single ISO file using DVD Shrink, then burn with DVD Decrypter. If your drive is formatted Fat32 you will need to split the ISO images into 1 gig files and then burn with DVD Decrypter.

No coasters, no skips or freezes and a backup that is hard pick from the original DVD.
