Hi
My dvd decrypter seems to take an age when searching for scsi/atapi devices sometimes as long as 5 minutes before finding the burner successfully???
Any idea why it takes so long as it never used to.

Hello,
Is it the first on the chain??? Is it the master drive?? If not it must be checking each link. How many burners/drives do you have hooked up???

Thanks for the prompt reply my nec burner is the master on my secondary ide device.
I ony have one burner and a dvd player as a slave to it.
This is only a recent problem after installing the latest version, I have also tried going back to previous version and am having the same problem.
