If fdisk says there is no fixed disk that means it has no HD! Or it means that the HD is dead, or it is just not connected properly. Does the BIOS/CMOS give you any indication that it recognizes a HD?
What do you mean you have the drivers installed? If there is no OS, then it cant have any drivers installed. Do you mean you have all the driver CDs?
What you normally do to partition a HD, is to put a DOS/Windows boot disk (or emergency disk, which is in fact just a system disk) and set the computer to boot from A: from within the BIOS. Then just type fdisk when you get a command prompt and partition your HD then reboot and format the new partition(s).
But it sounds as if you have a hardware problem somewhere.
