  1. I've made a 30 second "project" using Windows Movie Maker.
It is saved as a "WMV" File.
I used a program called "OSS Video Converter" to concert the "WMV File to an MPEG2 File.
    It did this just fine.
Then I used my NTI Software to burn it to a Blank DVD-R.

My problem is when I try to play it on my PC, using Power DVD, I get an error message of an "unspecified Format".
It wont play in either of my Standalone DVD Players either.
When I put the DVD in to play t on my computer it uses RealPlayer or Window Media Player only.
    What gives???

If anyone can help, but keep it simple.

Did "oss video converter" create a video_ts folder with vobs, ifos, bups that you then burned with nti?
Did you choose to "play a dvd from the hd" with powerdvd?

    OK so I'm a Newbie.
When I INITIALLY made this clip in Windows Movie Maker, should I have converted it to an AVI File and THEN converted it into MPEG 2 ?

I just want this sucker to play on my Standalone DVD player!
