  1. I have an XVID avi file that I would like play on my phillips dvp-642. When using Dr. Divx to convert it without QPEL, it does not recognize the DTS audio. Using G-Spot it says the DTS audio is only two channels. Can someone please help me so I can play the file on my 642?

    AFter appending with Virtual Dub AVI:

    QPEL and DTS present. would like to change DTS to Lame MP3 if possible. to have final avi with DIVX, lame mp3 codecs.

    You will need to strip the audio from the file, convert it to the desired format, then remux the audio and video.

    Try looking in the "How To" section on the left<<<<< under "convert"
