Having trouble doing this with dvd decrypter in the normal fashion, as the discs created with Sony GX7 seem to have unusual .VOB files. Normally, I can rip and just rename the vobs to mpgs, and import into ulead or whatever.
In this case, the .Vob has screwy timecode, saying it is 3.5 seconds, when it is a 4.3 G file.
Oddly enough, DVDs recorded on +RWs have "normal" vobs (only 1 vobid)
But the -R dvds have the "weird" vobs, with many many vobids.
Whole discs play fine in any player or PC, however.
There must be some way to "fix" the .vob ???
- I did notice there are many VOBid's for this disc (1 title, abou 125 VOBid's).
.VOBs that work "normally" from this recorder have only ONE VOBid for the entire dvd. Don't know if that is the problem, though.
- Thanks for any info
