I am interested in purchasing the 5045 model but I need to know if the Tuner will work in Ireland where we use VHF, Cable & UHF channels. I have downloaded the UK and Europe manuals but they do not give this information? They do refer to a Country selection menu but the available countries are not listed. I also see that there are different firmwares available for the UK & Europe, does this mean that the hardware and therefore tuners might be different and as I would purchase from the UK it is a concern that I get a VHF/Cable/UHF tuner model.

I have also emailed Liteon and left a question on their forum but no response so far. Can anyone help? Even someone in the UK might tell me if Ireland is in the Country setup list which would indicate it can be configured for here?
