Of course, Fox decided after the fact that "revenge" was not a Jedi trait and renamed the film, RETURN OF THE JEDI. They sent out notes to managers and, without explaining why, asked for the posters back ... that a new one would be mailed out. Hehe, I know of one poster that didn't make it back ... still sitting in the original manila envelope it was mailed in.

About 10 years ago, I was offered $500 for it sight unseen. But, I figure I'll wait until after the whole series is history ... then go to eBay to see what I can get for it.

I bought four of those 'Revenge' posters (the original teaser one-sheet, not the double bill one) back around 1984 - 85 at the Roosevelt Hotel in LA. There was a record/movie collectors show going on at the time, and I bought some and a friend of mine bought two or three. I've sold two of them on Ebay in the past couple of years, the most I got was just over $200 for one of them, and just under that for the other one. I haven't seen any sell for more than about $300 (yet).

I still have a couple left, rolled (they haven't been folded) and in plastic tubes out in the garage. Might wait a while to sell them, if, like Yoda says, they'll get more $$ in '06. I'm not in any hurry, since they've been around here for 20 years. I'm not really into SW stuff, I just thought it'd be a good investment at the time, I paid $15 or $20 each for them back then - don't remember the exact amount. As far as I'm concerned, they're worthless to me, I don't need them for anything, but as long as there's someone willing to buy them... :P

Well now that I think about it the end of this year might still work. Think about it - Episode 3 is out in May. Usually early year movie releases are on dvd by november or december of the same year (spidereman 2 was in what - June?? It came out in november or december too).

So for the big christmas season this year there's really no reason they wouldn't release both the single version of EPISODE 3 AND the DUAL TRILOGY pack. Though they may do the Matrix thing and wait for a SUPER COLLOSAL 10 DISC pack! : D
