Hello,
Is there any possible code that can be written to stop people from posting thread titles in ALL CAPS????? Perhaps locking out the caps lock or shift key in the subject heading????
It gets pretty old very fast and especially when there are multiple titles with all caps on the front page all the time. It's not like the caps are going to make anybody respond to your post any faster....
END RANT.
Kevin
Thanks.

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being banned.

(ps - mods you can lock this anytime you want - I just wondered if it was possible and since it's not this thread has no more redeeming value )Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -

Anyway rant over if it can't be fixed.

just compare and remap the hexadecimal codes for the charactors ..
so a 0x46 becomes a 0x66"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

each letter is really made up of a hex code (you can see them in your windows charactor map) ..
you just compare each code (all letters) in a look up table (caps) and if it is a match - replace it with the matching code (small letter)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
in simple terms
"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Sounds like overkill for a non-issue
-
very simple
if ( $subject == strtoupper($subject) )
{
// don't post topic
die('Subject capitalized");
} -
