    Hello,

Is there any possible code that can be written to stop people from posting thread titles in ALL CAPS????? Perhaps locking out the caps lock or shift key in the subject heading????

It gets pretty old very fast and especially when there are multiple titles with all caps on the front page all the time. It's not like the caps are going to make anybody respond to your post any faster....

    END RANT.

    Kevin

    Thanks.

    8)

Then we can maybe ban everyone who doesn't use the formal context to address the original topic starter, like "Dear Mister Bungloogie, ...."

    Hello,

I have no problem with spelling or proper grammar - english isn't everybody's first language. I understand that. It's just a little annoying to see ALL CAPS all the time. And that's NET ettiqutte not just our ettiqute here.

Anyway rant over if it can't be fixed.

    Lock her up mods

just compare and remap the hexadecimal codes for the charactors ..

    so a 0x46 becomes a 0x66

each letter is really made up of a hex code (you can see them in your windows charactor map) ..

you just compare each code (all letters) in a look up table (caps) and if it is a match - replace it with the matching code (small letter)
