Hello. I am converting my familiar VHS movies to DVD. After capture to MPEG2, I use TMPGenc DVD Author to build the DVDs with menus, and then use Nero to burn the DVD.
The problem is that none of the DVDs I have burt can be played in my Philips 703 player !! They are rejected without any message.
I have tryed with DVD-R, DVD+R and DVD-RW with same results.
However, the same DVDs work perfectly on my computer, and on my other DVD Player (a cheap chinese player).
Also: I have tryed copying a movie DVD (Shrek II) to a DVD-R, and worked perfectly on the Philips. So I have concluded that the problem is not with the media, but with the authoring process.
Any help ?
Thank you very much.
