  1. Oh man. For some reason the last couple of DVDs I am printing the black ink get smudged on the DVD and I mean while it is printing. Even if there is no black color involved in the DVD label at all, for some reason there are black smudges! Help! Why is this happening? This has never happened before and just started happening.

  2. I would hazard a guess the print head is skimming the top of the disc.

    During the calibration procedure before the print the disc should get pressed firmly into the tray, but if this isn't happening or there is maybe a label on the disc as well that's making it that bit thicker and it's fouling on the head.

    Don't forget that black is used in colour printing, even if there is no black in the image - how do you think it makes other / darker colours ?

  3. Sorry guys I was awya for a bit. Yeah im pressing the disc firmly into the tray. They are prodic mcc hub printables. I have never had a problem before now all of a sudden the DVDs are coming out with black streaks here and there, and really is screwing up all the discs! This hasn't happened before. Can some1 please help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

  4. by the way I should mention tha tI am using the megatoners ink maybe something is wrong with the black cartridge? Its only th eblack color that screwing up all the DVDs. Is ther any way fo rme to fix this this is really killing all of my DVDs! WELP!

    I would do a few cleanings. Try to also run a few blank piece's of paper to clean the rollers.

  6. thanks for the tip Ill do that tonight. How do I run blank pieces of paper? Just click on the feed button or something? Has this ever happened to any1?
