I think i should have enough space...i got 20gigs to work with
I followed all the steps in the guide and was experimenting with dvdlabs....how do i extrace each individual episode from the VOB files..it would have been nice if each VOB contains one episode, but unfortunately NO. Can anyone please show me the steps.
Also i notice that dvdlab pro had a playall selection in the connections Working window...Does it automatically connect to the menu/functions? If not, how do i connect it. My goal is to have a main menu with the playall button and the episode selection button, where the episode selection button will be linked to a second menu page

Assuming the chapters are the individual episodes, just use a DVD ripper and rip one chapter at a time. There are a bazillion rippers out there, try some. SmartRipper comes highly recommended, and the old standby DVDDecryptor still works on most DVDs.

I am reading the dvd labs tutorial guide now and playing around with it now....in the guide it says dvdlabs offers an option to join VOB files when u import sequential VOB files ...Can anyone tell where in the menu options i can select that bcs when i was dragging the VOB files in to the asset window the option did not pop up for me to join the vob files..

Using Dvdlabs pro i selected simple movie project...i imported 8 vob files which then became the 8 movies....i then made the proper connections in the working window and compiled the project.....however after compilation was done the dvd file created was not complete...basically the new compiled dvd did not have the contents of all the 8 initial vob files.....Can any please explain?....i followed the exact instructions from a video tutuorial except that i was using vob files instead...i repeated the procedure several times and still ended up with the same results...

Right click the assets window, select import.
Select the first .vob (VTS_01_0.VOB) to open.
If the .vob's are labelled sequentially, you will be prompted to join and demux them.
If this is a random set of vobs from various sources, you won't be prompted, thus you'll need to manually add each vob, make each one a movie in dvdlab, and join them in the connections window.Cheers, Jim
