A few questions, if anyone knows:
It appears to be marketed as a hybrid PC/Set top DVD recorder, yet there doesn't seem to be any way to monitor what you're recording, i.e. no video output.
Is that correct?
If so, does anyone know if it's possible to connect your camcorder directly to the burner, then connect the burner to your computer through the USB port and use a DVD player program to play back the recording while still recording?
I find it odd that Sony would push the direct recording (w/o a computer)feature of this unit but not provide any way to monitor what you're recording.
Also, why is this unit not included in the DVD writer section of DVDHelp.com?
