Derex - I don't think so. Neither of those examples is racist, political or obscene. It's more a commentary on well-publicized news stories. Had there been more mullahs or rabbis molesting kids, that might be up there instead of a priest.

And, by the way, that building in the background is the Bah'ai Temple on Chicago's north shore ...not a cathedral or synogogue or mosque

I love you man, but don't tell me there are not religious overtones or implications. Now, now -- are we now condoning religious post / satire just because it done graphically as opposed to with text.

I find the image and what it is referring to as rather funny; however, to say it could not be viewed as offensive by others and that it is not communicating one's belief about a certain religion or presenting it in a derogatory manner -- well , that would truly require one to be a Riverboat Captian on Denial.

Religious Satire is a Religious post and religious posts/threads topics are against forum rules, as far as I know.

Again -- I don't find it offensive -- I just find it interesting that it has been here this long and is being defended by a Mod. Tsk, Tsk !!

Seriously, I didn't see it as a religious commentary, but rather one on molestation in general ...a topic that is acceptable here. But I guess you could look at it either way, and I don't want anyone offended .....just a shame that it got jacked so off course that I'm locking a thread about my wife because of a religious/molestation image
