  1. Hi,

    I have dv cam and in one of my cassettes the tape is loose,
    How do I rewind it manually?

  2. Uhm...is it broken? Stretched? I'd say any damage to a delicate DV tape means your source is screwed. Sacrifice it and get a new tape.

  3. the source was fixed ,now everything is o.k. i need to view the tape ,which was not broken but become losse
    with vhs cassette i uesd pencil to manually rewind when i tryied the same with dv cassette it didn't moved the tape . where else i need to push in order to move the tape manually?

    What kind of DV tape is it? If it's a miniDV I can't help you, but if it's a Sony D8 there is a square hole in the center near the back of the cartridge. (Look on the bottom) You need to insert something (small screwdriver works for me) and push towards the back. This will release the catch on the gears of the spindles so you can turn the tape manually.
