Hi All, I am new to this so bear with me. I want to convert a Divx movie to mpg to view on a Philips CDi 210. I am looking for some tips for the best possible conversion (aren't we all I hear you say). The movie info is this - Video(640*272, 24 bits, 147550 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 115KB/Sec, DivXmpg4 V3) Audio(MPEG Layer-3, 128kBits/s, 44,100Hz Stereo) - if that makes any sense to any of you (HELP!!! pleaze). I have converted using one of the guides http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm. Is this a good guide for the format of the Divx movie. Cheers Stehaz

Adding a bit of extra information - I converted the above movie file using the Pal template in TMPGEnc and then tried to burn it with Nero 5.5. I then got an error message stating that the MPG was in the wrong format and when it asked me if i would like Nero to re-encode it i let it but that did not work either
Again any help would be appreciated
Cheers
Stehaz
