Today I was at one of the local Wal-Mart Super Centers.
Check out the electronic department I came across:
![]()
Emerson - EWR10D4 - $169
DVD Recorder
Emerson - EWR20V4 - $278
VCR Recorder / DVD Recorder
Symphonic - SR90VE - $278
VCR Recorder / DVD Recorder
Sylvania $269 - SAMS CLUB (another visit the previous day)
VCR Recorder / DVD Recorder
Since the above is built by Funai Corporation the features are pretty much the same. None of the above has digital optical output, but they do have digital coax output, all have a FAN, all only record DVD using DVD-R/DVD-RW only. Combo units are exactly the same except for the color, name plate, they are the same thing.
That's crazy!
ILO – DVR04 - $149
DVD Recorder
ILO – DVRHD04 - $278 only the display remained - SOLD OUT
DVD/HD Recorder
I wanted to see what all the fuss was about these two above. I know of the ILO basic without the HD, the second one with the HD might something to buy, if they had any left? I know that the Liteon 5045 is out with the 160GB double that of the ILO HD model with 80GB.
Now I am just curious to see how many of you have purchased the Funai clones above and are happy with them?
Speak-up! :P
