I am trying to capture video from a VCR of a football game and convert to DVD. I am using the WinTV PVR as my capture card. Could someone give me some suggestions on getting the best quality available? Right now I am using 4.0 MBS/Full1 VBR. It captures OK, but when I burn the DVD there is a bunch of distortion when the players are in motion and the audio is a tad off. I am using Ulead's DVD MovieFactory to burn the DVD. Is this just something that happens when there is a bunch of movement in the video or can I do something to alleviate it?
Also, I have noticed when I try to do this that the audio sometimes stutters and squeals and gets ahead of the video portion. This just seems to happen sometimes.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Configuration: 700Mhz, 128 SDRAM, 10GB (7200 rpm) for operating system and internal 60GB drive (7200 rpm) for video capturing.
Thanks in advance....

I personally use a PVR to cap to avi, your best bet is to look at SHS's wintv PVR forum. Sorry I can't be of more help, but the guys there only deal with PVR's so they should give you a solution.
