  1. Hi

I am new and am just starting. I installed Sony double layer drives in 2 pc's. I have burned a few with no problem. But one is giving me a hard time.
I have burned it on both pc's using 2 different brands of discs.

When I am watching it on my DVD player the video seems to freeze or pause itself every few seconds or so. But the audio playback is fine. IF you closed your eyes and just listened you would never know there is a problem.

But when I watch the video file on my PC it seems to be fine

I have attached the log info if it's any help

    Any clues???

(I'm also about to post about a different problem)

    Help!!

  3. HI and thanks

But I'm not sure what you mean by bad media.

Is it the discs I am using or the file itself.

I have used to different dvdr's
    Maxell and Verbatim

Here at work I did it and got the same result. Then I uploaded the video (via FTP) to my computer at home and got the same result.

    Thanks

    discs.

I'm not up on the double layer media, but typically pixelated video but good audio = bad discs.

It's easy enough to check, play the DVD on your PC before you burn it.

  5. You mean the video file itself right???
It does play fine. But the burnt one don't

I decided to try and redo the whole thing. So I opened up Nero and re-added the files.
When I went to click burn I got a Nero Express 3 error

"Unable to prepare data for recording. Prepare session failed:Transcoding of video's failed"

Then I got a message that says burn process failed. I am saving and attatching the log

Let me know if you have anay ideas................and I do appreciate your help
