Hey,
I tried making a dvd with music vids on it (I didn't need any menus or anything fancy at all, just a ton of music vids on a dvd) so I grabbed Winavi and chose the option of converting any file to dvd and selected the videos (37 in total) and proceeded to convert them. Now the problem I'm having is when I throw this dvd into a player it plays the first 8 with no problems at all, but once the 8th video is done the dvd stops as if it's hit the end of the disc, it still shows there are 37 files and I can skip to any video from 9-37 and play it but once it finishes playing the selected vid (say video 16) it stops after it as if it's the end of the video and wont play straight through 1-37. I'm kinda stumped as to why it does this.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Actually I don't have any idea on why it does this.
But you could try another software to create the DVD. Depending on your source material, this should be converted to DVD compliant mpeg2 videos (48kHz!) first. Then you could try to create the DVD with normal authoring software like TDA, dvdlab, GUI for dvdauthor, dvdauthorgui...
