  1. I shot some home DV for my kid and tried to convert them to DVD. However, after I did so, I found there is blur whenever my kid make a quick movement. I wonder whether that is because of the setting from DV to mpeg was not right. I used CCE SP, 3 pass VBR, max 9800, min 0 and ave 6000. Video: DVD compliant. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Make sure you use the correct field order, generally DV is lower field first. There will be a selection for lower field, upperfield or frame based.

    if it is dv, it is lower field first ... but buying a $2000 encoder to encode DV was a total waste of money really .. as CCE is not that much (or at all) better for home shot DV ...

    your max is really to high also - could have problems on burned media
