  1. How can I make it so that once the background music has played ONCE it stops and does not play again? Thanks.

  2. While rendering the motion menu, untick "repeat if shorter". Set your total clip time, and untick "shuffle loop point". This should start the audio at the beginning, play once, and stop.

  3. What do you mean, while rendering the motion menu? All I did was drag the imported wav file onto the menu and then it was there. Sorry for being slwo.

    from the DVD-Lab manual:

The precise time length that an audio clip will play for is quite important in the design and planning of a Menu. That is, because we know that in a DVD-lab designed Menu, at the completion of the playing of the audio clip, the player will either be either looped to itself (play again) or will continue to another Menu according to the values of the Connection links or Force Activate Btn. The DVD author has control of these features, all based on the time length that an audio clip will play.

Seems it either has to loop, or go to a different menu, or directly to the movie itself when it is done...

  6. Hmmm, maybe I will just not have audio on the menu then. Shame. I thought DVD-lab was limitless.

    Thank you.

  7. Create two identical menus. Attach your background music to the first menu and continue to the second menu. It will appear as though the same menu is displayed with the background sound played one time.

  8. Oh right, yeah. Thanks. But I think what I will do is make the sound files much longer,, so when they loop it wont be so anoying, because it will be every 30 seconds instead of every 5 seconds.

    Thanks everyone.

The only limit in DVDLab is the DVDSpec.
