Im making the decision to buy a laptop. Now Im no computer expert, so I need some assistance. Ive gone to lots of sites and forums, and many people have told me to go with alienware or cyberpower. Now, I want a gaming computer so I could Imagine the money this going to cost me. Any replies are appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
Yep it'll cost for gaming. The miniturization is what drives up the cost. Set up a budget and except it to go up when you start adding goodies like firewire + dvd burner etc. etc. etc.
And if you want a desktop replacement for max power they weigh 10lbs or so and not portable.
OR get a FRAG box that is very portable for lan parties but it has no built in monitor like a laptop - just another option FYI

Yeah I could imagine. But what are real good reliable laptop gaming systems. My friend had a toshiba, but that thing kept heating up all the time.
