ASF unable to forward - tried converting using Boilsoft FAIL

Hi

I have a very pesky ASF file that I tried reparing using ASFtools but I am still unable to jump to a certain time in the ASF file (cannot forward it)

I tried capturing it using Camtasia but no image came out of the capture (is this normal?)

I tried to convert it using Boilsoft but it keeps giving me the status Failed.

Does anyone know what I can do...

i usalluy use wmv recorder,,but usuallt have to clip the first couple seconds off the clip to make teh file right,,does anything show up in teh thumbnail for it?
