Hi.
I've been burning DVD+R's on my PC for a while and recently discovered that changing the "book type" to DVD-ROM from DVD+R allows the burnt discs to be played on some older DVD players where in the past it was not possible.
Question: When I finalize a disc on a DVD+R recorder, what is the book type set to? Has anyone seen any options to change?
Maybe this doesn't apply to DVD recorders... hopefully someone can help!
Thanks.

The Apex 9000 changes the book type from DVD+R to DVD-Rom like a movie when you finalize the disc.

Which recorder do you have? I just finalized one this morning, but forgot to check. I'll do that tonight and edit this response.
