I want to edit MPEG2 clips (just trim). When I use Videoredo, I get thrashing at the joined parts (not when authouring to dvd). Womble VCR does the job perfectly, but I get no sound when editing either captured MPEGS, or files from my DVD recorder. Any ideas what's wrong here? TMPenc Express does the job fine, but it re-encodes the files, which I don't need as I am just cutting out commercials. Should I try standard TMPenc?

Womble should work just fine, it does for me without affecting the audio.

Every once and awhile I have had the sound drop out. Just hit the button (the little speaker) to turn the sound off and again to turn it back on. Works every time for me. Even if it is not playing the audio it edits fine. It seems to be just a little quirk in there somewhere.
