Hi there!
I was wondering if there is any equivalent function in Cool Edit or Audacity of the timewarp function of Goldwave.

yes there is in cooledit/audition. Its simply called time stetch, and you can set various options such as keeping the pitch the same etc... this is great when you are doing a ntsc - pal conversion. Other than that, i use my nle to synch up the audio with the video. Works really well in my sony vegas 5.0a
