ASF - VCD Errors

The file i have wil play inmedia player to a certain point then stop and comes up with an error sayiong its badly formatted or corrupt, how ever if i go just past this point it plays fine again, also when i use tmpgenc to convert to vcd it stops at the same point, any idea's on how i can fix this, there is not a lot of info around for asf files as they are not very popular.

just downloaded Virtualdub 1.4c-ASF and it says that the asf functions have been removed at the request of microcock

I found the same thing some time ago after downloading this from the link in the Tools section here... I've always thought that it was version 1.3c that was the last version to offer this functionality. I was lucky enough to find an old CD that had 1.3c on it, so I used that instead without any hassles.
